Neymar is set to pocket £138million-a-year in Saudi Arabia after agreeing to join Al Hilal on a deal until 2025.

The 31-year-old is poised to end his six-year spell at Paris Saint-Germain to become the latest high-profile player to swap Europe for the Gulf nation.

As per L’Equipe, Al Hilal have agreed to sign the Brazilian forward for an initial £69m, which would rise to £86m if add-ons are met.

He is now set to undergo his medical, with the 2015 Champions League winner to fly out to Saudi Arabia later on Monday.

A two-year contract – with the option of a further 12 months – between the Saudi Pro League giants and the former Barcelona winger has also been ironed out.

The French news outlet has also stated that Neymar will pocket £138m-per-season.

This would see him bank a whopping £276m providing he stays for two years, or £414m if Al Hilal keep him until 2026.

To break his astronomical wages down, Neymar will be taking home £11.5m every month.

That works out to him earning £2.65m-a-week, £378k every day, £15.7k per hour and £262 every minute.

Incredibly, that is still less than Cristiano Ronaldo’s salary at Al Nassr, with the Portugal legend penning a £177m-a-year deal.

Neymar will be joining a side that have spent heavily this summer on assembling a star-studded squad.

Ruben Neves joined from Wolves for £47m, meanwhile Al Hilal spent £52m to bring in Neymar’s compatriot Malcom from Russian outfit Zenit St. Petersburg.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic swapped Lazio for Al Hilal in a £35m transfer, while Kalidou Koulibaly left Chelsea in a deal worth around £20m.

And Al Hilal even had a world record £260m offer accepted by PSG to sign Kylian Mbappe, but the striker rejected a move to Saudi Arabia.

It led to them to submit a £120.3m bid for Napoli marksman Victor Osimhen, but the Serie A champions are refusing to sell their Nigerian star.

Neymar, who had been linked with a move to Chelsea, will leave PSG having won five Ligue 1 titles.

He cost the French club a world record fee of 222m euros in 2017.

Injuries limited him to 173 games in all competitions, with 118 goals and 77 assists.
